Pink
Another pink flower
I love the skinny yellow “thread like" tendrils near the center of
the pink flower and the fuzziness of the yellowish flower in the back.

5 Facts – in no particular order
Used two layers of Kim Klassen’s Portrait texture on this photo
Fact #1 – I love, love the color green (can’t get enough)
Fact #2 – I collect Ukrainian eggs – they are like little
works of art
Fact #3 – I love creating - photography, beadwork, painting –
everything else dissolves into the background while I focus. Time stands still and yet flies by at the
same time (I don’t understand how this happens or how to explain it).
Fact #4 – I love mystery novels and movies
Fact #5 – Autumn is my favorite season. It’s the colors - browns, oranges, reds - in
nature that I find so appealing and after the heat of summer I welcome the
crisp and cool weather of our autumn.

Beyond Layers {Instagram-ish week}
Something blue - Instagram - X-pro II filter
I love these blue planter boxes. Dave built them for me about five or six
years ago.
I love planting something
that will climb up and fill-in the trellis section of the box.
This year we planted yellow Black Eyed Susan vines along with orangy-red impatients.
Texture Tuesday - The Outside Edition
This little guy is one of a pair of squirrels living in our back yard.
Here he is peeking at me while I sit outside enjoying the summer day.

Dream-Like
Learning to create dream-like photo's in Kim Klassen's Beyond Layers class.
Spotted this abandoned bird's nest while trimming bushes - so funny to see that the she used a piece of white curling ribbon to decorate the top of her nest. So stylish!
I love that these leaves start out bright green and then turn into a dark purpley hue.
I used one layer of each Yesterday and Thursday (from Kim Klassen) on both photos.
